Commercial kitchen flooring is typically seamless cementitious urethane — MavCrete UM installed at ¼″ in place of failed quarry tile — because cook lines take hot fryer oil, steam, and thermal cycling through 250°F washdown while dish pits run scalding water and detergent around the clock. Floors are sloped to drain, coved up the walls, and handed back before service.
