MavJoint JF

Joint Fillers & Sealants

Joints fail before floors do. Every unfilled control joint is an edge waiting for a hard wheel — MavJoint JF semi-rigid joint filler supports that edge, protects the shoulders, and seals the slab clean.

The First Place a Floor Fails

Hard polyurethane forklift wheels concentrate enormous load on a contact patch the size of a coin. When that wheel crosses an open joint, the unsupported edge chips — and every pass makes it worse. MavJoint JF transfers that load across the joint instead of into it.

MavJoint JF is a two-component joint filler — an accessory to every Maverick floor system, not a system of its own. We honor every existing joint: each is marked, saw-cut through the installed Maverick system, fitted with backer rod, and filled with flexible joint sealant. Rigid enough to support wheel loads, flexible enough to tolerate normal slab movement — and every control, expansion, and isolation joint gets filled, without exception.

Semi-Rigid Every Joint Filled Joints Honored, Never Bridged 6 Standard Colors

Why Facilities Specify MavJoint JF

  • Protects joint shoulders from hard-wheel impact and progressive spalling.
  • Honors every joint — marked, saw-cut through the installed system, backer rod set, flexible sealant filled.
  • Seals out washdown water, fines, and bacteria in sanitary environments.
  • Fast turnaround — shave in under two hours, traffic the same shift.
  • Performs in freezers and ambient slabs alike, −20 °F to 140 °F service.
  • Six standard colors to match the slab, the coating, or the brand.

MavJoint JF Joint Cross-Section

Every existing joint is honored — marked, saw-cut through the installed Maverick system, fitted with backer rod, and filled with flexible joint sealant.

Joints Honored, Filled, and Sealed

Photographed on our projects — existing control joints filled flush through a sealed concrete floor, flat under wheels with nothing to chip, chatter, or collect debris.
